HI, I’M JACK OF HEARTSOF CLUBSOF DIAMONDSOF SPADESBROCKMAN
My name really is Jack.

Hi, my name is Jack Brockman! Welcome to my world as a “Master of None.” While the age-old mantra I’ve based my personal brand off of has often carried a negative connotation, I proudly embrace it as my personal philosophy and approach to life and work. For me, the phrase represents a commitment versatility, both in experiences and skills. To me, true mastery in marketing and communications lies not in rigid specialization, but in navigating a broad range of terrains with skill and finesse—much like a Swiss Army Knife. Plus, it helps that my name is actually is “Jack.”
Growing up, I could never decide on a single path for my career. I dreamed first of being a professional soccer player like Messi (that didn’t necessarily work out), then of being a veterinarian, an architect, and even a lawyer. This indecision continued into college, which frustrated me to no end. But as I grew older and more confident, I learned to embrace my creativity and pursue my passion. My whole perspective shifted, and I realized that my wide-ranging interests were more a strength than a curse. The “Master of None” brand, in essence, is a declaration of my commitment and dedication to excelling in all that I do, no matter the challenge. My approach emphasizes blending multiple skills and perspectives to deliver innovative, lasting solutions in marketing and communications.
I celebrate the power of being a generalist. My journey is a testament to the limitless potential of those who embrace change, seize opportunities, and strive to better themselves every day. Whether it’s through my work, my academic pursuits, or my personal endeavors, I remain committed to learning new things, and pushing boundaries

MY STORY
I was raised in Richmond, Kentucky, and moved to Tampa, Florida, before my senior year of high school. I attended Florida State University (FSU) and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Though I initially planned to attend law school, my focus shifted towards marketing and communications during my Junior year.
My journey began as Social Media Chair for Phi Alpha Delta, a pre-law fraternity at FSU, where I could marry my hobbies of graphic design with the law. At the same time, I worked as a sportswriter for the FSU school newspaper, the FSView & Florida Flambeau, where I developed a passion for storytelling. These experiences led me to become Social Media Chair for The Nole Zone – the official student section of FSU athletics – promoting the men’s basketball team, increasing student engagement, and our social media following by the thousands.
In recognition of my accomplishments, I was elected President for the 2022-2023 school year, and expanded the organization’s influence across all Division I sports at FSU. I managed a board of over 30 students, ensuring their attendance at all home games across all sports. I managed various traditional, and social media marketing tactics in my position as President, which inspired me to pursue a formal internship with Sachs Media – a public relations firm in Tallahassee – solidifying my passion for marketing and communications.
Upon graduation, I opted to continue my education at the University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism in Los Angeles. I was awarded a graduate fellowship, which has opened the door for many incredible opportunities for my career.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching sports, spending time with loved ones, and keeping up with pop culture to maintain a balance that fuels my creativity.
“BUT OFTENTIMES BETTER THAN A MASTER OF ONE.”
